About Ruta
What kind of businesses use Ruta?
Two types. First, courier and delivery companies that dispatch for multiple clients. Second, small businesses that want their own in-house delivery — flower shops, bakeries, pharmacies, local retailers — anyone who sells a product and needs to get it to the customer. If you're currently managing this over WhatsApp or a spreadsheet, Ruta replaces that.
Is there a mobile app for my couriers?
Yes. Couriers get a dedicated app with their route, stop details, and photo/signature capture. You see their location live on the operator map.
How do I know where my couriers are right now?
Every courier's location updates live on your map. You see who's where, what they're delivering, and their ETA — without calling anyone.
What is POD?
Proof of Delivery — a photo, signature, or comment submitted by the courier at drop-off. Your client receives confirmation automatically. No more "did it arrive?" calls.
Can I set my own delivery zones and pricing?
Yes. Draw your zones on the map, set base prices per package type, add surcharges for express or scheduled delivery. The price is calculated automatically when an order is placed.
How fast can I get started?
Most teams are live in under an hour. Sign up, add your couriers, set your delivery zone and pricing — and start dispatching.
Using the app
How do I sign in to the app?
Use the email and password your operator created for you. Couriers and clients are invited by their operator — there is no self-registration in the app.
Why does the app need my location, and when is it active?
Couriers' location is used during active deliveries so dispatchers and clients can see live ETAs. Tracking starts when you tap "Pickup" on an order and stops automatically when the last active delivery is completed. The app does not track you in the background outside of active deliveries.
How do I capture proof of delivery (POD)?
On the order details screen, tap "Deliver" — the app will ask for a photo and optionally a signature. Both are uploaded to the operator's account and become part of the order's audit log.
Push notifications are not arriving.
Open iOS Settings > Ruta > Notifications and make sure they are allowed. Also check that "Focus" or "Do Not Disturb" is off. If they still don't arrive, sign out and back in — this refreshes the device token.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings > Delete Account in the app. You will be sent to a secure page where you re-enter your email and password and confirm. All your data is removed within 24 hours. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Who do I contact for help?
Write to [email protected] or message your operator directly through the in-app chat (bottom-right icon).
